Drowing in Latin. Oh the woe.

Right now I am in the middle of writing a Theology essay. I was writing the sentance, "Jeremiah upset the leaders of the Isrealites because...", and instead of writing because, I wrote "quod".

I've also used (purposefully, because the Latin words are shorter...) autem=however, itaque=therefore, ut=in order to, etc.

Yesterday, I spent nearly two hours on Latin. One of my exercises included a very detailed parsing of "Adeste fideles" aka "O Come All Ye Faithful". Not a translation, a parsing. Describing the definition of the word, its usage in that instance, what conjugational/declensional endings are on it, what the use of those are... I think I will never be able to fully appreciate that song again.

Latin is eating me up like a giant pink dinosaur. Um, that was a strange analogy. I think Latin has eaten my brain so much that I can no longer think properly. One... more... essay... then I am done until tomorrow...
