Play and Slideshow

I have been suffering from "post-production depression" (expression by the director) from the play I was in, "The Prince and the Pauper". So I figured out how to put a slideshow on my blog, with pictures of the play on it! See it on the right. I don't know if it will continue being just pictures from they play, or if that changes as I add pictures to Flickr. I also don't know if I will put more pictures of the play on; it really just depends on whether I remember it or not! ~Below~ Yep, that's me! I was the "Damsel in Distress" in the play (though I brought the "distress" upon myself by dropping the hankerchief on purpose), and I was also known as the "Painter in Distress". Don't ask me why; if you already know, then you know, if you don't, I doubt you will!!!

Here is their program cover that I made.

Lily (a.k.a. Adelynn Lilyanna Pretty Doll) as Mini-Miniature Bride and Josefina as the Mini-Junior Bridesmaid. Grandma made these darling dresses, and they look exactly like the real dresses. Thank you, Grandma!

Here is a picture of how they did my hair. The first thing that the lady at the salon said was ,"My goodness, you have a lot of really thick hair!" This took a long, long time to do! She even gave me a tiny bottle of hairspray, and told me that I would need it. I guess my hair is pretty troublesome!

And this is what it looked like when all the bobby pins got pulled out. That hairdo gave me quite a headache; take a look at the picture below to see how many bobby pins they used.
Notice the jacket I'm wearing. Mom made it, isn't it wonderful?

95. Ninety-five bobby pins. Sometime I will pull out Dad's postal scale and see just how much ninety-five bobby pins weigh.

I did Josefina's hair up, just like mine was. Except, she only needed 6 bobby pins, not 95.

Hey- I'm lucky I got a picture of this in the first place.

Grandma sewed doll dresses to match my dress and Addie's dress (Adelynn was the Minature Bride)
The cake was styled after the bridemaids' dresses. It was delicious.

Trish and Nick's Wedding

My aunt Trish married Nick Kreutz on Saturday, 6-7-08

(Note the date. Trish says that there is no way of forgetting their anniversary!)

I was the Junior Bridesmaid (which means that I did not have to walk with a boy! Yay!)

I do not have any pictures of the actual wedding, but I do have some of the reception. However, I am having a tad bit of trouble getting pictures onto the blog at the moment, so most of them will have to wait till later. Here are the two pictures that actually worked:

I am having entirely too much fun with this blog. But I assure you, during school I will not be posting every single day!

Camping Fun

The highlight of the camping trip was canoeing on the river (which I think was called the Black River, but I don't know). It was supposed to be a float trip, but we have no concept of floating- we raced! As a result, we finished an hour early. While waiting for the bus to come pick us up, we floated down a current in our life jackets, then did it again and again. Tim did a great job making sure that the littler kids did not get caught in the current. It was fun!

There were many tiny tunnels we attempted to scramble through.

For this picture, we had to tell Christina to act as if she liked her sister.

This rock was hard to climb up, but the picture was worth it! (Isn't interesting that the boy with the broken foot is the one lifting us all up? I thought that the docter told him to be careful and not lift too much weight!)

Getting Ready for Camping

Here is our cleaning robot that did all of our packing for camping (we wish). It is Ben's Lego Waiter, and it even has its own built-in dishwasher.
