Happy Easter

Hello! Why, you ask, am I on the computer on Easter? We are not going to visit anyone today, Ben, Will, Nick, and Adelynn are in a rousing four player game that seems to require lots of screaming, and Mom and Dad are going to play Ticket to Ride or Carcassone. And Marcus is nearly asleep. Also, I was not on the computer on Good Friday and Holy Saturday, so I am catching up on two whole days of not being on the computer. :-) Of course, I have missed very little. ;-) Here are some pictures from this morning- Mom was our photographer.

Will. There is a story behind that hat and jacket- he wore them all the time (as in all the time all the time) and he gave up wearing them for Lent.

Nick looking at his holy card of the patron saint of Boy Scouts. I forget who it was.

Adelynn holding up her necklace with the Miraculas Medal and little heart charms.

Marcus got a tool! A tape measure that it is OK if he destroys!
Not all of us had gotten dressed yet so I will save you from having to see pictures of me and Ben in PJs. :-)

Easter egg hunting:

I was utterly oblivious while Easter egg hunting- my eggs were blue. The Easter Bunny hid one in a empty blue outlet thingie- and I did not see it at all!!! Ben found an egg hidden behind a row of VHS tapes, and he found it pretty quickly, too! William took a long time finding his eggs- he was more oblivious than I was- and he spent quite awhile searching. When he found his last egg, I began playing "Alleluia" from Handel's Messiah. :-) That was pretty funny.
Adelynn told me today that she gave up playing her dollhouse for Lent. That's a pretty tough thing for a five year old! She decided to do it all by herself, and actually did it. She said she wanted to tell Jesus how much she loved him. Isn't she sweet?
So, of course, this morning I had to play dollhouse with her. Bad guys came and blew up the house, knocking all the furniture over (she has brothers- can you tell?) and the dollhouse people had to save the princess. They caught the bad guys and the princess gave a party and gave new dresses to all the dollhouse girls. I thought it was an interesting way of playing dollhouse.

Last night we went to Easter Vigil Mass. It was beautiful. Benjamin Wegner was baptized and recieved his first Holy Communion.

A rainbow! Very fitting, on Easter.
I'll post pictures from yesterday's dress rehersal later.

YAY!

Very sloppy. lol

Whew

Whew. Talk about busy. We are having realtors over today to look at our house. Thus, we have been very very busy. And I haven't been able to get on the computer for ages. Oh, well. I don't have time for pictures right now. What has been happening: (in the order they pop into my head)

-I just made blueberry muffins. So that the house smells good when people come. But also because they are yummy!!!
-I had play practice again last night. Jeni, Jenna, and I are going to teach everyone the dances from drama camp. :)
-I went to a concert on Saturday of all the choirs. I think it was the RCCC (Rolla Children's Community Choir), the Rolla Men of Song, the high school choir, and the chamer choir. It was at St. Pat's. As I was getting in the pews, I genuflected. ;-) Of course, the Host had been removed from the tabernacle. It's just habit, I suppose. I do that at plays and movie theaters and other churches, though. I'll get halfways down on a knee and then start blushing like crazy!!!
-Benjamin is getting baptised and receiving Holy Communion this Saturday!
-We are going to go to the library today for a few hours and hang out while the realtors come.
-I have decieded that I am going to attempt to take over Lanta's role as the craziest person in the whole world!!! (on the FairyTale fourms)
-Adelynn did her own hair... *groan*
-Last Sunday the "St. Louis Rackers" came down to help us fix up the house. Soon, of course, we won't be able to make the distinction between the "Rolla Rackers" and the "St. Louis Rackers" (and the "live-too-far-away-Rackers"- Kevin and Holly- lol!). We will be the "Cool Rackers" and the "Coolest Rackers". Of course, we are the Coolest Rackers.
-I stopped piano lessons until we move
-Dad has had three days of work and is on his third. He says that parts of it are really cool and parts are not. For instance, every thing he works on is a tradgey to someone, and sometimes in the accidents he will work on, someone will have died. .
-Ben and I are going to the skating rink with the Jr High Youth Group tonight
-And now I have to go! More later.

Happy April Fool's Day!

What did you do? I ran out of ideas, but...

Here is what I did:
-Taped down the sprayer in the sink. It was supposed to get Mom, but I fell for my own trick two times, and I got Ben and Will soaking! Mom caught on when Ben started yelling, though. :)
-Taped down the ends of all toliet paper and paper towel rolls
- Filled the cups of "water" with invisible Kool-aid
-Put makeup on Nick so that it looks like he had a black eye
-Switched the drawers in Ben's dresser (I don't think he's found that one out yet, though.)
-Moved Will's shirts to Nick's side of the closet and Nick's to Will's.
-I made "juice" which everyone quickly discovered was really Jell-O
-Cut out a peice of oragne paper in the shape of a spill and set it under a cup so that it looked like someone spilt orange juice all over the newly refinished floor
-(I got this idea from Ashley's blog!!!) Used food coloring to turn the milk blue
-I made a "Happy April Fool's" background for Dad's computer. :)
-I was going to put the pink comforter on Will's bed, but we packed it into storage already. :(
-Had Dad gone to work today (his new job, which he was supposed to begin on Wednesday, is starting tomorrow instead) I would have buckled stuffed animals in the car.
-Had I remembered, I would have wrote "Happy April Fool's" on all the napkins
-and then I ran out of ideas...

Ben took Nick's Brisinger book's jacket and put the book jacket on the Half-Blood Prince book. Nick was a bit upset when he opened the book to find that it was the wrong one! (btw, its a little crazy. My 8 year old brother has read both those series- twice!!!)

There is a sign in our yard

We listed the house today...

_____________

Don't worry, I have tons of pictures coming, but I download my pictures to the back computer and the internet isn't working on that, so I am on Dad's work computer and pictureless. :)
